its Precision Location Ultra Wideband System (PLUS®) was selected
for its unmatched precision down to 1 foot accuracy. Ceiling
mounted antennas and readers provide triangulation down to the Time
Domain tag located in every Giving Cart Device. Store aisles are
then divided into zones so that when a unit enters the zone, the Time
Domain UWB location device triggers a signal that launches a video
advertisement played to the customer holding the Giving Cart
device. Packaged goods manufacturers are thus assured their ads
play when the customer is passing their product on the shelf, thus
assuring maximum customer response to the advertisement.
